‘Learn to master the risks and complexities of your most critical strategic relationships’

How will you benefit?

Navigating the risks and complexities around using third parties is no easy task in today’s risk sensitive and fast paced world. Considering today’s marketplace and the need for financial institutions to be more agile while reigning in costs, it becomes even more challenging for organizations to keep pace with the risk of its most critical partners. As banks and financial service organizations continue to leverage both off shore and domestic third party capabilities, having more rigorous and comprehensive risk management processes is a strategic imperative. Additionally, in the fall of 2013 The OCC issued Bulletin 2013-29 to provide enhanced guidance on effectively managing third party relationships.

This two day training session will provide practitioners with insight into the most up to date tools and methodologies being used by financial institutions across the world. The course is designed to not only provide attendees with an understanding of the new OCC requirements, but also provide best practices drawn from leading institutions to help comply with regulatory expectations. Through a practical approach, delegates will learn innovative methodologies to overcome the challenges of third party risk management throughout the risk management life cycle: conscientious planning; effective third party selection; due diligence; optimization of SLAs, robust ongoing monitoring and termination plans.
