    He has 40 years of experience working in power generation. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University, he worked for 15 years as a plant engineer and project manager. He managed a varietyof O&M and capital projects in nuclear and fossil-fired power plants. He realized that successful project managers had strong business skills in addition to their technical knowledge, and therefore earned his Master of Business Administration from Marquette University.He went on to manage engineering and maintenance organizations in large coal-fired power plants. He then managed a fleet-wide organization for supporting maintenance management, long-term service agreements, contractor management, external labor issues, and outage planning and execution.
