SEC 10-K Reporting Skills
As public companies approach the end of their fiscal year, they must prepare for 10-K season with an annual report for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Management must understand the requirements of Form 10-K to avoid regulatory actions. The purpose of the evaluation of ICFR is to provide management with a reasonable basis for its annual assessment as to whether any material weaknesses in ICFR exist at the end of the fiscal year. This course will tackle what the minimum ICFR reporting requirements are for the SEC, when they are due and who within an organization are responsible for meeting the requirements.
